MIDAFEN 409 is an effective dispersant used for the production of ferrite slurries.

Doesn’t contain sodium and potassium ions.

It is completely decomposed below the ferritization temperature.

This product adsorbs on surface of crumbled grains what cause decreasing sedimentation and easy mutual translocation, finally lowering viscosity.

Doesn’t contain sodium and potassium ions so it’s used to fluxing ferrite masses.

This product is especially recommended to mass containing high amount of magnesium (II) ions.

  • Resistance to temperature below -10°C
  • Easy to use because of liquid consistence.
  • Effective at concentrations already from 0,2%.
  • Applicable in wide range of concentration from 0,2% to 1%.
  • It is an ashless product. Decomposition in temperature above 350°C.
  • Decreasing of water amount in technological processes. Working on higher mass densities.
  • Stability at high temperature – product doesn’t decay during longer milling.

How to use

MIDAFEN 409 is generally added directly to the mill at the beginning of milling, but it can be used to control of mass viscosity and thixotropy after the unloading process or for the engobes, at the glazing line.
